WERE THEY EXPECTED TO ATTEND?

The Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards took place yesterday out in LA with plenty of celebs and their offspring in attendance including Russell Simmons who managed to drag himself away from South Beach to take his girls to the event, Jermaine Dupri and his daughter, comedian Chris Rock, the usual line up of teen performers including Soulja Boy, Romeo etc. Funnily enough Chris Brown and Rihanna were not in attendance and I would have thought it highly unlikely that people would have expected them to be there anyway, even though some news channels seemed quite shocked that the former poster couple didn’t make an appearance. Rihanna was actually up for two awards but was beaten by Miley Cyrus and Beyonce anyway, so no real point in her showing up anyway and well Chris took himself out of the running earlier this month to avoid the wrath of parents because it is all about the kids at the end of the day.
