Do Not Ask Kid CuDi For A Feature!

A lot of arrogant people annoy me, but CuDi’s arrogance is just entertaining to me.  Dude is mad emotional and provides great stories for bloggers.  Who else starts rap beef over using the word “Rager”?  Once again your boy CuDi deems himself too talented to be bothered to do features for anyone who isn’t named Kanye West or Jay-Z.  Although he does have a point about features been more of a marketing tool these days as opposed to artists organically creating music with one another  Via Complex.  (They did an extensive interview worth checking out).

So not a lot of features in your future?
I’m not interested in being someone’s look. And that’s what it is nowadays-a look. It’s hard for me to charge people, because I do my stuff for free. I do all my stuff with Jay and Kanye on the house, because it’s a brotherhood. Besides them, I can’t really hit nobody with a fee, because then that’s a dispute. What I want to charge, motherfuckers might not have a budget for!

On top of that, it’s a commitment when you do a song with somebody. Like, “We need a single, we need the video.” And then-like I said in the last interview, being that I don’t f*ck with most people musically-it’s tough for me to want to bend and be a part of people’s projects.

  1. I can respect what he's sayin though, you dudes co-signing other dudes that you know a couple of years ago would have either been beefin of hated each other just, now they just doing it for a little extra money and it seems real fake. It would be like Method Man sayin Lil Wayne is the best rapper and doing a song with him, luckily that shit ain't going to happen if it does i'm done with it all
