After shutting up critics and fellow musicians in June of this year as the first Hip-Hop Act to headline Glastonbury Jay Z has obviously done wonders for the notorious festivals ticket sales. Tix for the 2009 weekend went on sale this weekend and already they have sold over half of the available amount.
The headlining acts have yet to be announced but in a recent report the organizers said it wouldn’t be another Hip-Hop act as Jay Z would be a hard act to follow and ‘they will never top that.’ And in more Jay Z news, he has linked with Coldplay…again to feature on the remix of their track Lost from their Viva La Vida album.
