So Lil Mama came out with this weak ass response. The reality is you are a fame whore who had one hit single, and you’re on some MTV dance show with AC Slater from Saved By The Bell.

“I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys,” the statement reads. “I admire them and look up to them as role models. ‘Empire State of Mind’ had my emotions running high. In that moment I came up onstage to celebrate my two icons singing about NY.“

Jay-Z stopped by the VMA’s last night to perform “Empire State Of Mind” with Alicia Keys. Decent performance of one of my favorite tracks off The Blueprint 3. The thing that has everyone dumbfounded is the fact at the end of the performance Lil Mama, that one hit wonder chick who commentates on some dance show, forced herself onto the stage. I don’t know if she thought she was cool or something buy Jay clearly wanted nothing to do with her. Why do people do shit like that?
