Looks like Master P may have set a trend with the exclusive clothing line only available at Wal-Mart as now Def Jam founder Russell Simmons is doing the same thing. Russ’s line called American Classics will retail between $10-29 per item is already on sale in Chicago and is expected in over 350 Wal-Mart stores over the coming months.
The line is targeted at the 21-25 year old graduate. No news as to if the former Mrs Simmons will be bringing her baby Phat line to Wal-Mart yet however, maybe she will go for Wal-Mary rivals Target instead.
Master P was the first Urban designer to bring his line, P Miller Designs, to the chain of stores back in 2007, the store up until then had only stocked celeb designed clothes from the Olsen twins.
