MC Breed, aka Eric Breed, was sentenced to five months in jail Friday (April 4) for failing to pay over $200,000 in child support to three different women. At the hearing, Breed’s lawyer told the judge that his client’s career has been on a downslide and that makes it difficult for him to pay the child support. “I’ve done my best to give back what I can,” Breed told the judge. “You’ve given back $50 in three years,” the judge responded “That’s the best you can do?" source
Beyoncé and Jay-Z Are Married People is confirming that Jay and Bey have tied the knot after years of courtship. People: Though there is no official confirmation, the friend says, "It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family." The ceremony was followed by a lavish party at the rapper’s Tribeca apartment that drew Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny’s Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple’s friend Gwyneth Paltrow.
Remy Ma plans to wed Papoose on New York’s Rikers Island sometime in the coming weeks, and the New York Post has a hilarious take on the upcoming nuptials.
According to the Flint Journal, the rapper was arrested by Genesee County Sheriff’s deputies yesterday on warrants for unpaid child support totaling $220,000. He was slated to take the stage at the Perani Arena as part of a bill featuring Lil’ Wayne. MC Breed was a no-show for his homecoming concert Thursday night. What had been billed as the Flint-born rapper’s triumphant return ended up with a night in jail for unpaid child support. It appears that Breed has not made a payment in about three years, he said. Breed, who earned a gold record for "Ain’t No Future In Yo’ Frontin’," recently spent eight months in prison for a parole violation that was the result of unpaid child support.

Pink Slip Records Presents: 5th Flow (Rahlo, JClay, Supreme), Houston’s Crunkest new rap trio…and they are on fire!!! These boys literally shut the club down when they show up 50 DEEP! In layman’s terms; (they have an entourage of 50 people). To add to the mayhem, the group’s live stage performance is that of a rock show. 5th Flow gets the crowd involved in the show with their high energy and impressive showmanship!! If you’re not moving after you hear the first verse of their single "Quarter To A Half" you’re either on drugs or deaf. Imagine Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Twista, T.I., and Ludacris united on one mixtape, for one cause, or even under one umbrella. Well, there is no longer a need to imagine because Rahlo, JClay, and Supreme deliver a lyrical flurry of that ’Dirty South/Midwest’ heat directly to yo mama’s front porch. The sound is remarkable! You can hear the 5th Flow/Pink Slip swagger and personality piercing through the speakers. 5th Flow covers all bases from street anthems, like the debut single Quarter to A Half, to Party’s in the Hamptons with the "Rich White Kid" single. 5th Flow delivers rhymes filled with passion, lyrical content, and subject matter on a consistent basis…unlike several of their MC counterparts that tend to have diarrhea (runoff) at the mouth. This is Hood Music at it’s finest. The group was formed at Prairie View A&M University where JClay and Rahlo launched Pink Slip Records and Supreme at the time, ran his own underground label Supreme Records. After several mixtape encounters followed by an "ON CAMPUS BUZZ" the three joined to feature on the PVAMU acclaimed mixtape "Name Dem Shows" followed by the release of Rahlo’s debut album "The Sources". Shortly after the mixtape/album release the group experienced an overwhelming amount of notoriety for the single "Takin Over". With their new found notoriety came CASH-IN-HAND and a demand for another mixtape release. So the group carefully crafted PINK SLIP RADIO VOL. 2: 5TH FLOW EDITION which is 21 tracks of the Kitchen Oven…HEAT. To add fuel to the fire they dropped the video "Takin Over" in April 2007 which has accumulated 50,000 plus plays on the Web. CLICK IMAGE TO DOWNLOAD MIXTAPE

Mr. Browns’ book "Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But" , slated to hit stores next month, he claims Whitney Houston only married him to deflect the lesbian rumors about her and her personal assistant, Robyn Crawford. Bobby writes "I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now, I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married. I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children. In Whitney’s situation, the only solution was to get married and have kids. That would kill all speculation, whether it was true or not. In the short, I think I got caught up in the politics and ended up marrying one of the biggest stars in the world." He also says it was Whitney who introduced him to cocaine. In the book he claims, "I never used cocaine until after I met Whitney. Before then, I had experimented with other drugs, but marijuana was my drug of choice. At one point in my life, I used drugs uncontrollably. I was using everything I could get my hands on, from cocaine to heroin, weed and cooked cocaine." Bobby also dishes on Karrine "Superhead" Steffans. "Yes, I’ve slept with her," he confesses. "Yes, I’ve spent several nights at her house. But she was only good for what her nickname stood for."
