By: Hot Gossip Gal Ne-Yo do I need to say anything more??? Happy weekend y’all.
By: Rizoh The ongoing Hollywood writers strike may affect some of your favorite reality shows, but Irv Gotti’s Vh-1 series, Gotti’s Way, will soldier on. Gotti has been promoting the show aggressively in an effort to launch a comeback to the music industry. During a media stop at Complex magazine, the Murder Inc founder addressed some hot button topics, including sagging CD sales and rumors of a sexual relationship with Ashanti. Gotti blamed the Internet for declining rap sales. “Look at the sales. Look at "Ay Bay Bay." That was the biggest song in the f**king country and he did 20 f**king-thousand units,” said Gotti in the Complex interview. “This is the music business that we’re in. The Internet has totally taken the music business and stuck a big fat d**k in it’s a** and now it’s f**ked it.” He added that even a big shot like Inc rival 50 Cent is feeling the brunt of bad sales. “It’s tough for everyone. 50 just now went over platinum. I know he’s sitting back like ‘What the f**k is going on?’ He’s going to bottom out at like a million-two.” Gotti also seized the opportunity to debunk rumors that he had an affair with R&B singer Ashanti. “Why’s everyone saying I slept with Ashanti? Because Wendy Williams is saying it? Wendy Williams says a bunch of crazy shit. That’s what she does. So on that note, next question. I never said that I slept with her.” The next episode of Gotti’s Way airs on Vh-1 Saturday Nov. 10 at 12:30 AM EST. The show traces the comeback of a fallen rap exec and a family man.
By Quibian Salazar-Moreno It must be nice to be famous. In an effort to get big money spenders and shoe collectors interested in diamond-studded Nikes, Atlanta retailers Laced Up Boutique and Priyya & Chintans Diamonds have designed a custom version of Air Force One’s So Cal featuring nothing but ice. They’re giving the first pair away to Big Boi of Outkast with hopes of attracting some clients. "People in the entertainment industry aren’t afraid to spend big money, and sneakers are becoming like collectibles," Ernel Dawkins, owner of Laced Up, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The shoe features the logo cast in gold metal and the 11- carat diamonds are studded in casings held together by a fine gold stitching. The shoes will be unveiled on November 27, and then Big Boi will be able to take them home.

by: Hot Gossip Gal Yeah if he stopped acting like a chick I might get his name right. Here is what Styles had to say to him "Fall the fuck back and come speak to us like a man before you go to the Internet. Stop being corny. I told him he was off the label and then he went and got disrespectful by dragging the chain and disrespecting what we built. I told him then I wished him the best. Why the fuck should I let him off? Tell him to tell me why. He was off before he did the dumb shit. He can get off if he makes a public apology on the internet. Make that apology nice and humble." True talk from my dude Styles..act like a man be treated like a man….act like a jerk expect to be jerked
By Rizoh 8 Diagrams, the Wu-Tang’s first album in six years, is only two four weeks away. But don’t expect to see the clansmen promoting their new album together. Some members of the group disagree with their frontman RZA on a number of issues. So far, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon have gone public with their grievances. Ghost first fired off on monetary matters during an interview with MTV News. “N***as ain’t give us money when we did them Wu-Tang tours… n—as is holding onto a lot of money…It’s a battle right now.” “The Big Dough Rehab is my album, 8 Diagrams is their album,” Ghost continued. “But it ain’t got nothing to do with the regular members. ‘Cause I love Raekwon, Masta Killa, U-God, Genius, all them. But it’s on right now… N***asas better pay my f**king money. Matter of fact, they can keep the money…just get me out of their life right now.” Raekwon added his voice to the debate in a heated sit-down with Hot 97’s Miss Info. “When it comes to making sure my family and my child is going to be able to have something for tomorrow, I’m not letting nobody ring me out without me saying what I got to say.” Beyond the financial dispute, Rae took a strong exception to RZA’s creative direction with the new album. “I’m not going sit here and allow myself to drown in the water when I know the boat is about to sink. RZA is trying to create too much of the orchestra piano. He’s trying to do too
By Quibian Salazar-Moreno With his new album, “Big Doe Rehab”, dropping on December 4 and currently on tour with Rakim, Ghostface is taking a shot at another form of media – books. In collaboration with MTV Press, Ghost will release “The World According to Pretty Toney,” on January 8. The book is a collection of ‘Toneisms’, co-written by MTV’s J. Brightly and inspired by the popular MTV skits of the same name. The book is supposed to be the modern hustler’s guide to life where Pretty Toney offers nuggets of wisdom on the key elements to becoming your own personal success story: Livin’, Hustlin’, Love, Nutrition, and the all-encompassing Toneology. The book also has photography by Dave Hill that illustrate each piece of wisdom, and includes a companion audio disc, that will teach hustler’s everywhere what to do and what not to do.
By: Hot Gossip Gal I am hearing that Jay Z is concerned about how his American Gangster album is moving….not believing that for a second..Jay reaffirmed himself as the games most prized lyricist with this album..only Jay would have Penny Cruz up in her seat shaking her ass as he performed at The House of Blues in Hollyhood the other night. Anyone who thinks the album is wack speak now or forever hold your peace…Hov is back
By Quibian Salazar-Moreno T.I. is currently under house arrest stemming from federal weapons charges. He was arrested on October 13 after federal agents said he was trying to buy guns. As a convicted felon, T.I. is prohibited from buying or owning any firearms. On October 26, he was released on bond, but was ordered to house arrest. He isn’t allowed visitors without prior notice and there can’t be more than three unless it’s under special circumstances. Through his lawyer, T.I. asked the judge if he can have a list of family members come over for Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 22 from 9am to 6:30pm. There’s no word on the judge’s decision.
By Quibian Salazar-Moreno Since Michael Vick was accused of participating in dog fighting, the media has put the hip-hop world on blast, blaming the culture for attraction to the act. To prove otherwise, Russell Simmons has shot variety of public service announcements, denouncing the practice. The PSAs were shot for the Humane Society of the United States and the BeKIND Foundation and consist of 15 and 30 second spots featuring Simmons, Humane Society President Wayne Pacelle and BeKIND founder Frances Hayward. The spots will be posted on YouTube and on the organizations’ websites.
Akon Not Getting Hitched Again Already with five wives at the last count, turns out Akon wont be marrying the British model Rachel Ritfield after all. Turns out home girl finally came to her senses and turned the lights on…noooo i dont mean that…what I mean is she finally got the fact that Akon likes to have his cake, cookies and candy and eat it too. Wife #6 was just not an option for this chick..what made her think she was going to have him all to herself is beyond me anyway and anyway who would want him all to themselves anyway? There is a reason he has all these wives. The Hip-Hop Court Turns out Remy, Busta, Weezy and Ja Rule were all up in court in Manhattan yesterday morning.Sure the lights were flashing downtown yesterday as everyone rolled through..theres gotta be a joint coming out of this..all those names in the same place at the same time…damn perfect opp for a video too…
By: Rizoh LL has been taking shots at Def Jam president Jay-Z for a while now, but he still has a few more bones to pick with Jay regarding his American Gangster album. “Shouldn’t there be other Def Jam artsts on the soundtrack? If there are any other artists associated with it, I’m not hearing about ‘em,” LL said in a new MTV interview. “As the president, shouldn’t a lot of people be involved with the project? Shouldn’t this be the big Def Jam project? Yeah, I’ve heard that different people are collaborating, but I’m talking about being out there in front of the project and promoting the project and growing the project.” LL also complained about Hov sucking up all the attention while his own album is trying to get on the release schedule. “Now you’ve got LL working on an album for a year and you’ve got the president putting out an album in the middle of that, before your album…when you trying to get on the schedule—and they’re…you know, really look at what’s going on here!” Someone please tell Uncle LL that the American Gangster album is not a soundtrack, but a concept album inspired by the movie.
By: Rizoh Duane “Dog” Chapman has continued to apologize for using the N-word in a conversation with his son. Dog, whose “Bounty Hunter” show was canceled by A&E following the controversy, told Fox News that he now understands the implication of using the racial epithet. “I will try never, ever, ever to use that word again…I didn’t want to have to explain to America outside my family and people that I love that know me what that means.” He added: “I thought that I was cool enough in the black world to be able to use that word as a brother to a brother. I’m not. I didn’t really know until three or four days ago what that meant to black people. Of course, I know the story, and I know America’s story. But I never realized that that’s like stabbing a black person in the heart. I would never do that to any kind of person. I’ve always taken pride to be the white guy that can talk to the black people, that can refer to them truly as a brother from a different mother.” Dog conceded that he needs to increase his vocabulary to avoid using offensive language in the future. “I need to get a greater vocabulary than what I have and when I get mad and my brain searches for a word. I have to find different words and to do that you need to have more of an education,” said 54-year old Chapman who only made it to 7th grade.
By: Hot Gossip Gal Turns out cops in Mass got heavy with Trey Songz after a show the other night in Springfield, but the thing is now Songz is talking about suing the cops for how they beat up on his bodyguard and other members of his entourage. Supposed to have taken six guys to beat down the 300+ weighing bodyguard though, now you know those guys don’t go down easy unless they working for TI…ooops did I say that out loud?
