Jesus Is King isn’t here, but there’s still a ton of heat to bump.

Well, the clock struck midnight, and Jesus Is King is nowhere to be found. Although Kanye attempted to keep fans at bay by tweeting, “To my fans, Thank you for being loyal & patient, We are specifically fixing mixes on “Everything We Need” “Follow God” & “Water”, We not going to sleep until this album is out!,” the restlessness en route to his ninth studio album is mounting, the impatience palpable.

But hey, it’s still Friday, so you know what that means: It’s “New Music Friday.”

A tamer edition than we’ve grown accustomed to over the past several months, today is still replete with some notable drops: Guapdad 4000 has come through with his debut project, Dior Deposits; Rex Orange County, the enchanting voice featured on Tyler, The Creator’s Flower Boy, has come through with Pony; the winner of Netflix’s inaugural Rhythm and Flow, D Smoke, has released his debut project, Inglewood High.

Guapdad’s Dior Deposits punctuates a successful 2019 campaign for the Oakland artist, one which saw him featured on the star-studded Revenge of the Dreamers III ensemble album. Joining him on this debut album is a loaded, diverse collection of talent, including: Chance, Denzel Curry, E-40, Maxo Kream, Buddy, 6LACK, Tory Lanez, and many more.
