It’s the last “New Music Friday” before the holiday season comes into full swing, meaning that the hip-hop’s dynamic stars have come bearing gifts. With less than two-weeks of the year remaining, artists are getting in their last shot before we close the books on what’s been an unprecedented year. And while it’s been another voluminous release day, DJ Forever Cold is back with the expertly-curated Forever Cold❄️ playlist.

Headlining the 12/18 list are: Young Stoner Life Records, Eminem, Sheff G, JI The Prince of NY, and Popp Hunna.

Kicking things off with a bang, Young Stoner Life Records, Young Thug’s imprint, has finally come through with the long-teased and highly-anticipated posse cut, “Take It To Trial.” Originally thought to drop weeks ago, the YSL offering proves that patience is virtue. Thug, Gunna, and Yak Gotti continue proving why YSL is one of the hottest labels in town with their new collaborative single.

Whether or not you call him the GOAT, Eminem is securely one of hip-hop’s most prized artists, demonstrating an uncanny ability for lexical gymnastics. Today, he’s augmented his 2020 album, Music To Be Murdered By, with its deluxe counterpart, which provides an entire new side to the LP. The side-b of MTBMB comes in at an additional 16-tracks, and features Dr. Dre, Ty Dolla $ign, and more. His track “Gnat” has proudly made today’s list.

Next up, Sheff G continues his reign as one of the leading voices of Brooklyn’s Drill scene with his new project, Proud Of Me Now. With only one feature on the tape, Sleepy Hallow, Sheff G proves that not only can confidently handle the heavy lifting, but that he excels when it’s just him, his pen, and a variety of beats. The track “Statement” has made today’s list.

Staying in New York, the exponentially-rising JI The Prince of NY has come through with his new project today, Hood Life Krisis Vol. 3 EP. The succinct seven-track EP is another sound offering from the burgeoning Big Apple artist, and foreshadows a strong future ahead. His A Boogie-assisted “R&B Shit” has made today’s list.

Last, but certainly not least, the widely-discussed Popp Hunna has revamped his hit “Adderall (Corvette Corvette)” track with a verse from Lil Uzi Vert. Hunna hails from North Philadelphia, and is poised to carry his 2020 momentum into the new year to emerge as one of hip-hop’s next to watch.

Other artists to make today’s list include: Dee Watkins, NBA YoungBoy, Tyla Yaweh, G Herbo, EarthGang, Tobi, Lil Skies, TOKYO’S REVENGE, and Tobe Nwigwe.
