iHipHop Admin50 Cent has apologized for his awful performance at the 2007 BET Awards. According to 50, the set didn’t go down as planned and that caused him to lose his concentration.
Said Curtis: “When we went through the run-through [rehearsal], we went through the performance without being hit by the aerial. Later on when you see the actual show, it wasn’t planned for me to take my hat off or take my jacket off. Everything doesn’t quite happen the way you plan it. I was wavy-wobbly coming down. 25 feet in the air, man, if you fall, can’t nobody help you with that.”
He returned to BET’s 106 & Park to re-do the performance. No heights involved this time.
