Drew: This is probably the question that makes me most curious to hear your take. What is next for Noah “40” Shebib? This dude has created a completely unique and unmistakable sound within hip-hop and only works with Drake. He could easily branch out and do work with other artists from all other genres. Who would you like to see him work with?
Dan: 40 will always be loyal to Drake and their sound will always be synonymous with each other. While I don’t see him necessarily branching out that much, I could see him working more to develop the OVO Sound artists. The two times in recent memory that 40 has expanded his sound outside the Drake-related spectrum, I was happy with the results. “Bye Baby” by Nas and “What Happened To U” by Usher were both dope and more collaborations with those two guys would be much appreciated. This might be crazy, but I would love to hear what Ross would sound like over a couple of those dark, spacey beats.
