Have We Seen The Last of the Maybach?

Daimler just released news that Mercedes’ luxury line of the Maybach will end production in 2013. Apparently the Maybach has had a decade long of losses with sales dropping year after year. Not shocking since not many got the bank to afford a $350,000 car. Regardless, this is probably disturbing news for rap’s elite as its been a staple in the hip hop community and owning one essentially meant that you made it. Here’s some pics of rappers who will be most affected.

Video: Watch Meek Mill’s Five Fingers of Death Freestyle on Sway

It's Meek Mill season and his sophomore album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, is out now via Maybach/Atlantic/Dream Chasers. Meek has been heavily promoting the album, making many appearances on various platforms. For one of those appearances, Meek joined Sway Calloway for a Five Fingers of Death freestyle. Needless to say Meek definitely killed it. Also according to Billboard, Meek's DWMTM is projected to sell over 200k during its first week. New Music: Rick Ross – “Movin’ Bass” Feat. Jay Z (Prod. Timbaland)

Rick Ross' forthcoming studio album Hood Billionaire is due out November 24th and today he shares his Timbaland produced, Jay Z featured track "Movin' Bass". The track finds Ross delivering some fiery street verses and Jay handling the hook (yep, the hook) and it's a pretty dope cut despite no actual verse from Hova. Listen after the jump.
