Say goodbye to G.O.O.D. Friday…at least for now. Last night Mr. West took to Twitter to announce that G.O.O.D. Friday was canceled this week due to a hacker leaking “All of The Lights” and “Lost In The World” from his forthcoming, yet currently untitled album. Tweeting, “due to blogs leaking unfinished songs from my album I’ve decided to pass [on] Good Fridays this week” before stating, “it’s messed up that one hacker can mess everything up for everyone.

Below is the leaked track in question.

I understand where Kanye is coming from, but he has to realize that one of the main reasons why people are hacking into his e-mail to access these tracks is because they are desperately anticipating his album dropping (not too mention they think they can make money by bootlegging them). In all seriousness, if Kanye dropped his album this Friday, with no title, marketing, or promotion, it would still be the number one album in the country come SoundScan the following week. That doesn’t give anyone the liberty to actually break into Yeezy’s e-mail, but maybe he should chill on taking such an authoritarian standpoint. It’s sort of like one kid forgetting his permission slip and the teacher decides to cancel the field trip for everyone.

I’m honestly not mad at Kanye for canceling G.O.O.D. Friday after reading the Tweet below. Soulja Boy’s a “genius”; get the f*ck outta here. This must have been the ‘big artist’ Soulja Boy was referring to yesterday.

  1. Kanye is 100% right. Pretty sure he paid and never has to make another album again. so everything here out is for us. But damn respect his art chill and wait in line. For him to do this gotta mean he's fed up. Matter if time before rap music is extinct cause nobody can sell records. Is it possible? Think about it.
