Fat Joe…Not Fat?

With their collaborative album coming out later this year, Fat Joe and Remy Ma followed up their huge summer single “All The Way Up” with the single “Cookin”. It features fellow Bronxite French Montana and up-and-coming rapper RySoValid. This will be their second single off their upcoming joint album Platas O Plomo. “All The Way Up” reached mass success: attaining platinum status with one million units sold, reaching #27 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and #9 on the US Hot Hip-Hop Chart. Jay Z blessed the song with a feature on it’s remix, earning the single even more air play on the radio. “Cookin” has the similar hard beat filled with trumpets and bass, which can now be expected out of a song featuring Fat Joe and French Montana. Fat Joe is looking to hit on two straight singles as he returns to hip-hop relevancy.
