KEN ESQYesterday marked another major move in expanding the brand for Beats By Dre. They opened up their 1st Beats by Dre pop-up store in SoHo at 67 Greene Street. These have arguably been the most popular headphones relating to the hip hop community so this is a great move for Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine. The Beats By Dre store will be open from November 3rd to January 15th. No word as to why just yet, but make your way down.
Here’s what Jimmy Iovine had to say:
“The Beats store belongs downtown right now. It’s got the right environment, the right feel with the cobblestone streets. Beats is as much about fashion as it is about audio, we wanted to plug into a place that had quality and Luke [Wood] thought that we should try a place downtown,” Iovine told The Post.”
