JPEGMAFIA is one of those rare artists who’s able to curry favor not only for his undeniable talent, but also because he’s so eccentric; he truly is one-of-one. JPEG is a modern day musical renaissance man whose work reflects his individualistic mentality by synthesizing his unique perspective and diverse abilities. It is with this enigmatic disposition that he’s been able to achieve stardom and attract co-signs from fellow transcendent artists. Most recently, he invited Denzel Curry to hop on the official remix for his track, “BALD!.”
Curry is a distinct artist in his own right. When paired with JPEG on the spacey “BALD!” production, the two sound like a couple of peas in a musically-challenging pod. The “BALD!” Remix aptly demonstrates their respective eclectic skills, with Denzel handling the lyrical lifting across JPEG’s textured instrumental.
