Denzel takes the lead in the 39th Annual NAACP Image Awards with 8 nominations including best director and actor for his role in "The Great Debaters". Others to receive nominations include: Chris Brown, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Common, Jill Scott, Mary J. Blige, Forest Whitaker, and others. The show airs Feb 14th.
