Desiigner erupted on the scene with his outsized hit, “Panda,” which not only was interpolated into Kanye’s “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2,” but also earned the New York MC a spot on the GOOD Music roster. Since then, Desiigner and the Kanye-helmed label have parted ways, but that hasn’t deterred the “Timmy Turner” rapper creatively — not by a long shot. With a liberated sense of self and vision, Desiigner has been making music on his terms, on his own accord. Today, he adds to that collection with his inaugural 2021 single, “AMEN.”
