T.I. (a.k.a Clifford Harris) has been granted a $3 million bond in his federal weapons case.

Though he’s no longer behind bars, T.I. is still expected to remain in confinement at his home in Georgia. Under the terms of the bond and house arrest, he’s to remain at home except in exceptional circumstances, such as court appointments and medical emergencies.

Obviously, Tip is not expected to have any guns during his house arrest. He’s also prohibited from making contact with any of the witnesses or informants (a.k.a. the bodyguard who “snitched” on him) in the case.

As previously reported on ihiphop.com, T.I. is facing a federal weapons charge for the possession of unlicensed machine guns and silencers, as well as possession of firearms by a convicted felon. If convicted of the federal weapons charges, T.I. could face up to 10 years in prison.
