As previously Kanye West went on to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at last night's MTV Video Music Awards. And it was Taylor Swift who of course presented Ye with the award... because ratings. In addition to calling Ye a "friend," she joked "I'mma let you finish, but Kanye West has had one of the greatest careers of all time," referring to West's infamous interruption in 2009. Ye went on a wild diatribe about kids, award shows, and even Justin Timberlake (who apparently inspired him.) Oh right, he also announced his run for President in the 2020 election. Okay, cool. Snoop Dogg (no longer going by Snoop Lion, thankfully) teams up with Charlie Wilson and Pharrell for "Peaches N Cream" from his forthcoming BUSH album. BUSH marks the first time Snoop and Pharrell will be working on a project together since 2004's Rhythm & Gangsta, which, as you may recall spawned huge radio singles with "Drop It Like It's Hot."
