It was over 15 years ago when Ice Cube starred in his first movie, “Boyz N the Hood”, as Doughboy, a South Central, Los Angeles teenager caught up in the gang life. Since then he’s starred in more than 20 films, most of them getting an exclusive Ice Cube song for the film’s soundtrack.
Now Capitol/Priority Records has collected 16 Ice Cube songs from the various films he’s been for the album, “Ice Cube: In The Movies.” Set to drop on September 4, the albums features choices cuts from films like “Friday,” “All About the Benjamins,” “Player’s Club,” and “Higher Learning.” Here’s the tracklist to the album:
