Having a gold plaque in your college dorm room isn’t the standard type of furniture one would imagine seeing. But then again, not all college students are Brandon “Bei Maejor” Green.

The plaque that was just spoke of was for the songwriter/producer’s work on Bun B’s Trill album, and it arrived while he was still attending classes at Michigan University.

From there, his credits went onto include a who’s who of the industry with names like Trey Songz, Ciara, Sean Kingston, Lloyd, Chrisette Michelle, Keri Hilson, Drake, T-Pain, Bow Wow, Ne-Yo, Wiz Khalifa, Monica, Ginuwine, Plies, and Iggy Azalea just to name a few all requiring his assistance.

Fresh from the release of his latest project, Upscale, the young hitmaker readies for his debut studio album, and we were able to catch up with him while he made the rounds in New York at RCA Records to talk about stepping in front of the mic, working with T.I., and not using samples.  He also talks about how Iggy ‘stole’ the “Murda Bizness” beat from T.I. and much more. Check out the 2 part interview below.
