Dreamville’s about to shake up the scene.
J. Cole’s brave and daring 2018 album offering, KOD, might have gotten snubbed at the Grammys, failing to receive a single nomination, but that hasn’t dampened the Dreamville captain from continuing his musical givings. Recently, Cole came forth with the exciting announcement that he and Dreamville will be releasing Revenge of The Dreamers III imminently.
Revealed through creative marketing means, Revenge of The Dreamers III began creeping into the social media ethos over the weekend with a collection of posts–or invitations, rather–unique to the given Dreamville members. Set against a gold backdrop, large block letters akin to the Star Wars worded introductions, “Revenge III” appears underneath the statement: “Your presence and participation is requested for the recording sessions of the upcoming compilation album Revenge of The Dreamers III’”, directed at the respective artist.
So far, we’ve seen posts from Dreamville members Bas, Cozz, Ari Lennox, JID, EarthGang, as well as TDE’s exciting upstart, Reason.
Revenge of The Dreamers III is the first Dreamville compilation project since their December 2015 album.
