JID, one of Dreamville’s most imaginative lyricists, has helped J. Cole’s imprint achieve outsized success thanks to his nimble pen and dexterous flows. The Atlanta native is regarded for bridging the gap between hip-hop’s Golden Age and its sonically-fluid future, positioning him as a commodity in the game.
