Running up a bill of over $700,000 for watches and jewelry might to many not be a big deal, but when the customer fails to pay the remaining balance of his bill, over $300,000 it becomes a problem. Particularly when the said jeweler is taking a brief government vacation for money laundering. Jacob Arabov, more commonly known in the ‘industry’ as Jacob the Jeweler filed a lawsuit against Wyclef Jean, the former Fugee front man and now roving Ambassador for his native Haiti to recover the unpaid bills.
