The businessman in Jim Jones is hoping to capitalize on the buzz surrounding Jay-Z’s American Gangster for a comeback. Jones will release a mixtape-style album dubbed Harlem’s American Gangsta on the same day Hov’s latest opus is slated for release. According to Hot 97’s gossip guru Miss Info, Jones will release his CD on November 6, 2007. Unlike Jay-Z’s album, though, Capo’s new set will be available to fans at no cost. Harlem’s American Gangsta, which features new songs from Juelz Santana, is also hosted by Jay-Z’s ex-Roc-a-Fella partner Dame Dash.

Cam’ron is another Dipset vet hoping to capitalize on American Gangster for a comeback. Killa Cam plans to release his new mixtape, Public Enemy #1, on November 7.
