Fredo’s voice still lives on.
Fredo Santana’s tragic passing left a void in the hip-hop world. Revered for his contributions to Chicago rap through his affiliation with Chief Keef’s GBE imprint, Fredo was a fearless MC who was keen on advancing the genre through his vision and harrowing stories. A life claimed by seizures induced by drug overdoses, Fredo left us far too soon. However, as is so amazing with dearly departed musicians, Fredo’s voice lives on through his vast body of work, including his posthumous releases. Yesterday, the late Fredo and frequent collaborator Lil Reese released their joint track, “Not Like U”.
