Last May, Nick Cannon made headlines after he proposed to his lady, Selita Ebanks, in the middle of Times Square as it was shown on a giant screen. He hooked up Ebanks with a 15-carat diamond engagement ring that he had a hand in designing. Now the couple is calling it quits.
"Selita and Nick are taking a break to focus on their careers but still very much love each other and remain the best of friends," Ebanks’ publicist, Melissa Raubvogel, told the Associated Press.
Ebanks is a Victoria’s Secret model and Cannon is currently running several shows for MTV and just wrapped three movies, “Day of the Dead,” “Ball Don’t Lie,” and “American Son.”
