Phonte decided to let loose a few records that have been collecting dust for years.  Today, the Little Brother member leaked nearly an entire album’s worth of previously unheard material, recorded between 2001 and 2009.

If you didn’t already know, Phonte can sing!  Songs like “A Rollerskating Jam,” “Hard To Do Right,” and “Sunflower’s Lament” are pretty clowning for the fact that Phonte performs under pseudonyms (one of which happens to be a poor man’s Curtis Mayfield).   Then there’s “RZA Is The World” which places Phonte in role of RZA attempting to make a “We Are The World” style song for Haiti, which is both strange and comical.  Regardless, mostly everything he just released is quality material.  Check out the songs and Phonte’s short, but descriptive blurbs below.
