R&B star Lloyd has confirmed that he has left Irv Gotti’s lable ‘Murder Inc‘ because of problems he faced while being on the label. He explains that from the get go there were problems such as, the label not having a distribution deal forcing the artist to pay for his own recordings.  He was then advised by the label (who never payed for the recordings) not to release his own records. Following the success of his single “You” featuring Lil Wayne, Murder Inc were able to get a distribution deal, but everytime Lloyd went to the studio to record more songs there would be no beats except for old instrumentals.  Lloyd says that Murder Inc did not supply him with a “supporting cast”.   After voicing that he wants to leave Murder Inc, C.E.O Irv Gotti’s response to the media was that “Lloyd wasn’t a good artist”.  Lloyd says that he hasn’t spoken to Irv in a year while he was still under contract with Murder Inc. Here is the interview with Lloyd explaining all and his future in the music industry.
