You remember O.T. Genasis, right? Oh, what, the name doesn't sound familiar to you? Okay, just in case you forgot or amnesia is suddenly contagious, O.T. was the rapper that suddenly dropped one track late last year in "CoCo". You know: I'm in love with the coco. That song. Yikes, kinda embarrassed to even be typing that in 2015. Well, basically he's got a mixtape out: It's called Rhythm & Bricks. There's like, a bunch of songs on it, production from producers, and raps from rappers. Cool. If you're into that sort of stuff, peep O.T. Genasis' Rhythm & Bricks after the jump.
Not sure if anyone reading this is looking out for B.o.B anymore but he's just released a new project -- a mixtape -- entitled Psycadelik Thoughtz. PT (because I vehemently refuse to repeat that album title again) is B.o.B's first full-length project since January's uneven No Genre: The Label mixtape. Here B.o.B offers up eleven new tracks (including the previously released single "Back & Forth") with approximately two guest spots -- neither of which pertain to hip hop, exactly. If you're one of those people still checking in for some new Bobby Ray then this latest project, PT, is right for you. Check it out after the jump. It's also currently available on iTunes.
Skyzoo's going to be releasing his highly-anticipated forthcoming studio album Music for My Friends soon (get it on June 23rd) and the album is said to feature plenty of guests, including Jadakiss, Black Thought, Bilal, !LLmind, Apollo Brown, Jahlil Beats and more. Pretty sweet stuff already, folks. But Sky is treating fans with a little sampler plate of what's to come. Clocking in at just over ten minutes, Sky's sampler for Music for My Friends is sounding quite awesome already. I can't wait for its inevitable release on June 23rd and if you're like me and can't wait, then go ahead and get at those snippets after the jump.
Your Old Droog is real and so is his self-titled debut album. The Droogster (once mistaken for Nas) has made his debut album available for stream via NPR's website. The project consists of the self-titled EP that he released earlier in the year and eight new tracks including "Free Turkey," and more. Listen after the jump.
