Migos' Offset is officially a free man. After spending nearly eight months behind bars on drugs and weapons charges, Offset was released on Friday (Dec. 4th). And what's the first order of business for Offset? Why drop a new track, of course. Back to the rap grind, Offset records "First Day Out," a possible ode to Gucci Mane's song of the same name. Free Offset. That's all. I can pretty much end the writeup there. But, because I'm no lazy journalist (dedication!) I'll go ahead and give you some background info. Offset, 1/3 of Migos, is currently incarcerated (yes, again) for a probation violation. While he's locked up Migos continue to tour and wait for the inevitable release of Offset. In the meantime the whole QC team is sharing "Work" featuring ATLien Jeezy -- even though Jeezy has been beefing with Atlanta's de facto Trap God, Gucci Mane, who as you know is cool with Migos. Migos have come a long way since "Versace" and they've got more hits on deck for 2015. Before they release their highly-anticipated debut album YRN: tha Album later this summer (it'll be arriving July 31st) they're sharing some new music for the streets. Days after releasing his QC the Label: Free da Gang mixtape, DJ Champ decides to release a no DJ version of one of the project's standouts: the Murda-produced "Conversation." Migos' forthcoming album YRN tha Album is due out July 31st (after a series of unfortunate pushbacks) and the Atlanta duo (member Offset is currently incarcerated on drug and gun charges) is looking to feed the streets with a new one in "I Just Wanna."
