Make no mistake, Tinashe is a burgeoning star in today's music industry. But she's also a burgeoning star with a wide range of talents. Don't believe me? Well, on top of being one of the best (and dare I say underrated) contemporary R&B singer-songwriters, she can also hold her own when it comes to this rap thing, too. Don't believe me? Tinashe recently stopped by Sway in the Morning to discuss her tour with Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry in Latin America, but was eventually put on the spot by Sway himself to deliver a freestyle. Tinashe, being a woman of her word, did indeed kick a freestyle -- albeit with a hint of singing thrown in -- with a quality outcome. Don't believe me? Hit the play button after the jump.

Watch this clip and tell me Common isn't still -- after 20 years -- one of the best rap artists who can freestyle spontaneous verses at the drop of a beat. The lengthy interview is respect due to the Chi-town legend, who's making the press rounds for his 10th album Nobody's Smiling, and the freestyle is at the very end. Check the video after the jump.
