You may remember Teairra Mari, erstwhile self-ordained Princess of The Roc, and her ladies anthem "Make Her Feel Good." The teenage singer recently disclosed on her MySpace blog that she has now severed ties with Roc-A-Fella. On the blog entry which has now been reset to be accessible by friends only, Teairra writes:

"Ok! I couldn’t hold this in much longer. I have to address my current standing with Roc-A-Fella Records.I am currently NOT signed to the label. I didn’t get dropped, it was a mutual agreement between myself and the label. I felt that I needed a label to support the Teairra Mari brand.I am looking around for deal and see which label is going to give me the best support. Right now I am a free agent. I have a few labels trying to holla at me. There’s one in particular that I am interested in but right now I decided to take a break and recoup.I created a wonderful debut album that was well received but people were feeling it. I am glad that most of you went out and supported me. Just to set the record straight, I still got love for Jay and all the other artist over at the label. It was a business move and not a bad one.I am currently still recording my second album which is being revamped and is "Untitled" will be out soon. Hopefully if things work out my album will be out next year."

The Detroit native released her debut album, Roc-A-Fella Presents Teairra Mari, in August 2005. Teairra, who turns 19 in December, hopes to release her sophomore album sometime in January.
