Travis Scott fans rejoiced last Friday when the pioneering artist released his first ensemble album, JACKBOYS. A new musical voyage for Scott, finding him fully realizing his A&R chops, the compilation features Cactus Jack signees Sheck Wes and Don Toliver; it also includes Young Thug, Quavo, Offset, and a Lil Baby- and Rosalía-assisted “Highest In The Room” remix. But perhaps the album’s biggest banger comes on the last track, “Gatti” featuring Pop Smoke.
Recently, Pop Smoke — the explosive New York artist hellbent on blowing-out every speaker in his path — and Trav linked for the official “Gatti” music video. A stop-motion affair, the JACKBOYS visual manifests the song’s radical ethos through thrilling graphics and effects.
