Ghostface Killah continues the rollout for his highly-anticipated forthcoming solo album 36 Seasons (due out Dec. 9th) with a third AZ featured track. A week back Ghostface Killah announced his forthcoming album 36 Seasons (his thirteenth full length album to date), which will be dropping December 9th. With that Pretty Toney shared the first single, “Love Don’t Live Here No More”. The second single, "The Battlefield", however, is more on the gritty side featuring NYC all-stars Kool G Rap and AZ. It's worth noting that in addition to "The Battlefield" AZ will be appearing on four more tracks on 36 Seasons. Listen after the jump!
After surprising hip-hop heads with the announcement of his forthcoming studio album 36 Seasons earlier in the week and sharing a new cut “Love Don’t Live Here No More” Ghostface Killah returns with a preview of the album. Last week Nas surprised everyone when he dropped "The Season", his long-delayed collaboration with legendary Detroit producer J Dilla. On "The Season" Nas raps over Dilla's smooth "Gobstopper" beat from his 2006 instrumental album Donuts. If nobody was expecting that to happen, then surely nobody was even remotely thinking about AZ, Nas' longtime and frequent rhyme partner, and also a member of hip-hop group The Firm (which Nasty Nas was also part of), to remix the track. Listen to AZ' remix of Nas' (and Jay Dee's) "The Season" after the jump.
DJ Doo Wop behind the beats, and Doe or Die 2 is coming soon.
