Troy Ave releases the visual for the title track from his upcoming New York City album, featuring Raekwon and N.O.R.E. New York City drops November 4.
After the less-than-stellar commercial performance of his Major Without a Deal album from earlier this year, Troy Ave looks to bounce back with the third installment of his White Christmas series on December 18th. Its first offering is "Restore the Feeling/NYC" in which Ave looks to restore the "feeling" of his native NYC -- that means canning the hate and trend followers. After the jump.
Method Man should be dropping his new project The Meth Lab shortly (August 21st to be exact) but in order to hold fans over he's sharing "The Purple Tape," featuring legendary Wu-Tang Clan members Raekwon and Inspectah Deck. By now everyone should be familiar with those three words: The Purple Tape. If you're not, it's quite simple: It refers to Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... and its unique purple plastic packaging. So it's only convenient that Rae is present on the track, too. Listen to Meth's "The Purple Tape" for those monster Wu verses you've been thirsting for after the jump!
Troy Ave is joined by Young Dolph, T.I. and Young Lito for a remix of his Major Without a Deal cut, "Real N*gga." Dolph, who recently put out his 16 Zips mixtape, comes through with a great verse. But it's really T.I. who has the showstopping verse, which you won't want to miss. Listen to Ave's "Real N*gga" remix after the jump.
You've probably heard that Troy Ave, the Brooklyn-bred rapper, dropped his latest album, Major Without a Deal and subsequently sold very poorly. But regardless of the aforementioned Troy is out here grinding and dropping singles from the project. Today he's sharing "Young King," the latest single from the album. You can check out Troy's "Young King" after the jump.
Ghostface Killah and Adrian Younge are set to drop their followup to the first Twelve Reasons to Die on July 10th and today marks a big day for the album as the duo share a massive track in "Resurreciton Morning." As if the song title wasn't enough, Ghostface recruits fellow Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon and R&B master Bilal for the track as well. The track is spooky and is catapulted forward by Younge's eerie piano-driven production. Check out "Resurrection Morning" after the jump and be on the lookout for the second installment of Twelve Reasons to Die dropping the 10th.
