Is Waka the best rapper? No.  Does he have star power?  Yes.  When I interviewed the dude, the guy just had so much presence.  Plus you can tell Warner has someone working with him on his delivery and what no because he’s sounding a lot more comprehensible.  WAKA!!!

New Music: Waka Flocka – “Workin'”

I was worried for a second there. Waka Flocka Flame -- the once unassuming weed carrer (or shooter) in Gucci Mane's 1017 Brick Squad camp -- released his debut album Flockaveli five years ago and has been dropping turds since. He was supposed to come out with the second installment, like, ten times already. But, sadly, it's constantly pushed back. (Maybe with good reason?) Everything that was going to be on Flockaveli 2 was scrapped and now we're getting this new track called "Workin'" which sounds like classic Waka. Basically that means I am happily satisfied. New Music: DJ Holiday – “Let Me at Em” feat. Problem, French Montana & Wale

Oh it's Holiday season! I'm a huge fan of rap mixtapes and an even bigger fan of Gucci Mane, which is why I suppose DJ Holiday is my preferred DJ of choice. Well, at least spanning roughly 2008-2012. Don't get me wrong, DJ Drama was dope, too, and Gucci even appeared on a few of Drama's tapes (The Burrrprint being the best of their collaborations.) But I don't know, I prefer Holiday over all other mixtape DJs out there. He's an OG at the game, which is why his new mixtape is entitled God Bless the Mixtape, and houses some huge features. Like this one, "Let Me at Em," finding DJ Holiday recruiting three big names. Problem, French Montana and Wale all join Holiday for "Let Me at Em" a track that will appear on the forthcoming God Bless the Mixtape. Listen after the jump.

Waka Flocka Flame on Racist Chant: “I Was Disgusted”

Waka Flocka Flame’s “disgust” over the actions displayed in Sigma Alpha Epsilon’s (SAE) viral clip has prompted the rapper to cancel his April concert at the University of Oklahoma. In addition to Waka responding to SAE’s offensive behavior earlier this week via an Instagram post, he appeared in an interview with CNN’s Brianna Keilar on Tuesday to share more of his thoughts. “My initial reaction when I seen the video, I was more like hurt. More like disgusted, because I knew those kids, I performed for those kids,” the Atlanta rapper said in reference to a 2014 concert at the university. “They made me feel like a brother. Just to see what a person does behind closed doors was more disgusting than hurting.
