Gucci Gets At Jay-Z?

Gucci Mane’s new mixtape, the 3rd installment of his Movie series “The Movie 3-D: The Burrrprint” just dropped and he recently came out his own public service announcement where he takes a shot at Jay-Z. Gucci made it clear that he does not think Jay-Z is the greatest rapper alive. In a self proclaimed “public service announcement”/Family Feud parody, Gucci says:

Jay-Z is the greatest rapper alive… Survey says, Thats A lie. Its the Blueprint 3, starring Me.”

Gucci is ok (in a this guy sucks, but the way he raps makes me laugh kind of way), but once you start talking bad about Jay-Z it’s over for you, that’s like blastphamy. I have a feeling that he’ll be regretting these words, but everyone is entitled to their opinion even if it is completely wrong.

“ThisIs50 Festival” Now On Tour?

50 Cent’sThisIs50 Festival” turned out to be a big success and now 50 and the Unit are announcing plans to turn the festival into a full tour making stops from the South all the way to the West Coast. 50 promises more reuniting of artists and new collaborations on the tour and says:

“I has to touch base with everyone and everybody saw hoe it made sense to get together and make some real money. And then artists influenced other artists to join…A lot of the artists out here tonight deserve to be on a regular Summer Jam bill, but we have to make our own Summer Jam because they [radio stations] are not recognizing their [new rappers’] material.”

50 Cent then goes on to talk about the tour itself, saying:

“Once they see us all here together at the same time with no issues, no incidents and no problems, they’ll let us do it wherever we want. After Hot 97, we’re going to step to Power 106 in L.A. and then Atlanta and we’ll continue moving around until we load the whole map up…In the future, don’t be surprised when you see all of us collaborating and working together on different projects — not necessarily a song, but something bigger.”

What’s Really Good With Shyne?

Rapper Shyne who was supposed to finally be free from the US government seems to still be at their mercy. Shyne was freed from jail after a 8 year sentence after going to the club one night with Diddy and J. Lo … He now faces possibly being deported back to his native country of Belize. Shyne’s father, Dean Barrow who is the Prime minister of Belize, has allegedly even wrote to NY Governor Patterson to ask for a pardon for his son, so he won’t be deported.

Shyne’s lawyer also released a statement saying that the rapper wants to remain in the US and he reportedly has a green card, but never aquired US nationality.

Shyne spoke out himself recently, but not on his release or immigration trouble. He addressed Diddy’s comments about a conversation the two supposedly had. Shyne, who basically took the bid for the whole shooting up the club incident says:

“I want it known that this supposed conversation is a figment of Sean Combs’ imagination. He never spoke with me, he never visited me nor would I ever accept a phone call or visit with him. The only way I would do either of those things would be if he stepped up and did the right thing for the victims of the accident.”

Although there’s no final word yet on whether the rapper will be deported or stay in the US, but there have been rumors of Shyne possibly doing business with The Game and signing to Czar Ent./Black Wall Street/ Gangland. Nothing has been confirmed officially, but hopefully Shyne gets a second chance at the rap career that he never really got to start.
