Loso rang the NASDAQ opening bell yesterday morning at on behalf of his alliance with After-School All-Stars as National Music Ambassador.  I get the vibe Fabolous cares more about being able to break out the fact he rang the opening bell as opposed to helping the kids.  Check the video of him ringing the bell.

Bun B revealed to XXL on an open uStream chat that he will be teaching a course on Hip-Hop and Religion next spring at Rice University in Houston. He spoke on maintaining office hours, worrying about attendance, and on how to deal with kids who may just want to slide him their demo:

  • If they’re coming into the course specifically to give me a demo…that’s a wrap on the first day,” he said. Although he expressed that he was wary about that potential issue, he did share one idea that could act as an incentive for students who wish to take the class.”My plan was to put a [demo] box on the desk, and the box is going to stay there and everybody stays there until the course is over. Nobody gets to listen to [any demos] until the course is over.

Also be sure to pick up Bun’s album Trill O.G. on 8/3.
