West Coast powerhouses YG and Mozzy have come through today with their new collaboration, “Bompton to Oak Park.”
Despite hailing from different cities (YG, LA; Mozzy, Sacramento), these California royalty use “Bompton to Oak Park” to demonstrate that regional differences provide more chance for traction than friction. With distinct regional sounds ,YG and Mozzy coalesce with the G-Funk instrumental to represent their colors, respective hoods, and mutual state.
The record also comes equipped with an official music video, where YG and Mozzy part the Red Sea with their emphatic bars and presence. Cali legend The Game makes a cameo in the video, as well.
