Just in time for the summer.

As he proclaimed on his “a lot” feature with 21 Savage, J. Cole really has been showing up on almost everyone’s tracks throughout 2018 and 2019: Moneybagg Yo, 21 Savage, Rapsody, Ty Dolla $ign, Offset, JID, Ari Lennox — the list goes on. Today, he steps onto another track:This time, it’s with his previous tour partner, Young Thug, and Travis Scott on the former’s “The London.”

Stepping into Thug and Trav’s world of voice manipulation and trap beats, J. Cole switches back and forth between his rapid-fire flow and one that gravitates towards a more chopped and screwed sound as he dons his auto-tuned cloak. As he does sos well, Travis handles the hook work, leaving Thugger to complement Cole’s lyrical lifting with his own rewind-worthy verse.
