Well it looks like the internet broke another street date. Beyonce’s next album, 4, got leaked recently according to MTV.com. The same story suggests links are still floating around on blogs and twitter despite the star’s lawyers issuing C&D orders to sites posting links.
Response among twitter has been mostly glowing as fans and critics alike share their critiques. There’s no evidence suggesting where the leak originated. So, with that said, the LP’s freely available status could be a considerable hurdle for her movement. Then again, leak’s effect may be curtailed quickly if Columbia pushes her release date up from its intended launch on June 28th. There hasn’t been any word of 4’s date moving but we’ll keep you posted.
My music was leaked and while this is not how I wanted to present my new songs, I appreciate the positive response from my fans. When I record music I always think about my fans singing every note and dancing to every beat. I make music to make people happy and I appreciate that everyone has been so anxious to hear my new songs.
