R.I.P. Big Pun! This past weekend, (February 7th) was the tenth anniversary of the late great emcee’s passing. Me and famed Hot 97 dj Peter Rosenberg had a sit down last week. One of the things we rapped about was Big Pun, and the current state of his estate (see what I just did?). It’s ironic that our talk fell on the eve of Pun’s anniversary, especially since it was the topic of Pun that escalated our “beef” in the first place. Peep as we chop it up:

Video: Kendrick Lamar Live at Hot 97’s Summer Jam; Plays “King Kunta”, “The Blacker the Berry” for First Time

Amid all the chaos happening outside, Kendrick Lamar managed to perform at Hot 97's Summer Jam concert in New Jersey yesterday. During his set he did To Pimp a Butterfly cuts "The Blacker the Berry", "King Kunta", and "Hood Politics" for the first tim livee. You can watch a video of the performance after the jump, via Hot 97. Schoolboy Q also came out to do "Collard Greens" and "Studio."

B.o.B, Joey Bada$$, Travi$ Scott Added to Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2015 Festival Stage

With winter finally on its way out and summer just a few more months away Hot 97 is beginning to reveal the acts that will be scheduled to perform at their annual Summer Jam festival. B.o.B, Joey Bada$$, Travi$ Scott, DeJ Loaf, and Teyana Taylor have just been announced to play at the festival, which is taking place Sunday, June 7 at the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey. Be sure to peep the announcement video after the jump which will, of course, include a number of surprise guests for Sunday's big show.
