Kobe Bryant became the Lakers all-time leading scorer last night, passingJerry West and his 25,192 points with a 44-point performance against the Memphis Grizzlies last night. Bryant, in his 14th year in the league (Westscored his 25,192 in 14 full seasons with the Lakers), is already the fastest player in the history of the game to 25,000 points. Kobe hit the go-ahead shot last night with a dunk off a fast break sparked by a lead pass by Jordan Farmar.
