R&B crooner Lloyd made an impressive showing this week by moving over 26,000 copies of his latest album, King Of Hearts.   Arguably more impressive is Kendrick Lamar, who sold nearly 10,000 units during his first full week on the chart.  Last week, Kendrick moved over 5,000 copies of Section.80 in a 3 day period, as his album dropped on a Saturday.  The cumulative figures come as quite a victory for the burgeoning L.A. artist who released his project exclusively in digital format.  Finally, Common’s latest digital single, “Ghetto Dreams” featuring Nas landed him in a nice sales position, proving that the East Coast and Midwest still have love these timeless emcees.

Lloyd “King Of Hearts” – 26,363 (22% digital)

Common “Ghetto Dreams” ft Nas [Single] 11,448 (100% digital) [listen]

Kendrick Lamar “Section.80” – 9,522 (100% digital) (two week total) [read review]
