Featuring 2 Chainz, Solange, & Lil Skies.

Another week is in the books, so you know what that means: it’s time for a new edition of “New Music Friday”. While each edition is special in their own right, today is a little bit different–2 Chainz has finally released his long-awaited fifth studio album, Rap Or Go To The League.

Coming in strong at 14-tracks, 54-minutes, the new 2 Chainz project is a product of what happens when experience meets talent meets dedication–it may very well be his magnum opus. Leveraging his own background as a basketball player turned rapper–the first song’s, “Forgiven” ft. Marsha Ambrosius, features Tity being announced at a college basketball game–Rap Or Go To The League is an astute commentary on the limited career options presented to young black america, perpetuated by the media and preconceived societal notions.

Assisting 2 Chainz on the LeBron James-A&Red exploration are a collection of some of the industry’s finest talents: Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Chance The Rapper, Kodak Black, and more.

Joining Rap Or Go To The League on today’s “New Music Friday” are Solange with her first album in three-years, When I Get Home, and Lil Skies with Shelby.
