3. Lil Wayne, Tha Carter V

Billed as Lil Wayne’s curtain call, Tha Carter V is (so far) shaping out to be a return to form for the New Orleans spitter. After releasing more than a few duds since his unarguable creative height (Tha Carter III) back in 2008 the tracks we’ve already heard from Tha Carter V (“Believe Me”, “D’usse”, “Grindin’”) are dope and has us anxiously anticipating what Lil Wayne will produce as far as a full album is concerned. We’re hoping he goes out with a bang.
