“You been rappin’, I just do this on the weekend”
LA’s Blueface has taken the rap game by storm thanks to his unorthodox style, predicated on his overtly offbeat cadence. Now almost an artifice, this polarizing aesthetic could be viewed as a weakness, but has ironically been one of Blueface’s greatest assets.
So far in his young career, Blueface has demonstrated this off kilter flow on his hits like “Thotiana” and “Respect My Cryppin’”, and continues to incite conversation revolving around his legitimate skill level. But Blueface doesn’t care what doubters think–he only cares about staying true to his namesake: adding to his bottomline.
Continuing his pursuit towards ubiquity, Blueface has come through today with a new track, “Bleed It”, with a video directed by one of the youth’s greatest gatekeepers, Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade.
