Always nice hearing these two together.

Longtime collaborators and close friends Max B and French Montana have been working diligently to unearth the former’s voice from the confines of his prison cell. Serving a 75-year jail sentence, which will potentially be reduced, Max has been gone from the game since 2009, but continues to live on in spirit — and, thanks to French and peers, his music, as well.

Today, the two have delivered on their long-promised Coke Wave 4 tape, featuring nine-tracks. Anchored by singles “Don’t Push Me” and “Hold On,” Coke Wave 4 builds upon their momentum by reminding listeners of not only this duo’s palpable chemistry, but also, and perhaps more importantly, Max B’s legendary relationship with the pad and pen.
